Terms of Service

If you are interested in commissioning me, please be sure to read the Terms of Service down below. By submitting a request for a commission, you are automatically agreeing to these terms.

I. PAYMENT

  • You must be of 18 years or older to place a commission.

  • Payment must be paid up-front and in full via USD through PayPal invoice. I do not accept partial payments, payment plans, or e-checks.

  • I will not begin work until payment is fully received.

  • I do not offer discounts for commissions outside of discounts that are available to Patreon subscribers.

  • Refunds are only available depending on how much of the work has been already finished. If work has not been started, you are entitled to a full refund, whereas if I’ve finished the sketch and lineart, you are only entitled to a partial refund. All refunds are issued within 24 hours; no questions asked.

  • Private commissions are available, but will cost an additional fee of +50% to the base price. Additionally, I can mark the finished piece as anonymous for free.

ii. PROGRESS AND EDITS

  • A WIP (work-in-progress) sketch will always be provided to the commissioner unless mentioned otherwise.

  • When receiving a WIP, the commissioner is more than welcome to request any change(s) to the sketch provided, free of charge. However, any large changes or changes that were not mentioned previously to the artist or on the commission form is subject to an additional fee.

  • Outside of the WIP sketch, I do not offer any other WIPs (such as lineart, colors, or shading) until the piece is completely finished.

  • Upon the completion of your commission, the commissioner is more than welcome to request any changes that I might’ve missed or got wrong.

  • Due to the nature of my ever-changing style, I will not make any edits to a completed commission after a year has passed.

iiI. COPYRIGHT AND USAGE

  • As the artist (Kazu K9), I retain full copyright to all personal and commissioned art. This includes sketches, WIPs, and finished pieces.

  • Characters used in any artwork created are retained to their respectful owner(s).

  • Do not use, trace, copy, or re-upload any of my art in any way unless you are the commissioner and/or owner of the character featured in the art.

  • The commissioner/client is welcome to post their finished commission wherever they please, as long as proper credit is given. Please use the smaller “upload” version that is provided and not the “full-res” version.

  • Commissioned art is not to be used for commercial use such as mass producing the art and selling it for stickers, prints, etc. for personal gain and profit, unless discussed beforehand.

  • All artwork by Kazu (Kazu K9) is not to be used in anything relating or pertaining to AI in any way, shape, or form.

iV. MISCELLANEOUS

  • I have the right to refuse any commission request that I am not comfortable or capable of doing.

  • When placing a commission, please be sure you have a clear reference sheet and images.

  • I will not draw or imitate in another art style outside of my own (realistic, etc.)

V. WILL/WILL NOT DRAW

  • The following is a list of content and themes that I am willing and NOT willing to draw. If you have any questions or are unsure about anything on these lists, please contact me.

  • Content under the “Will Draw” list are also some of my preferences and strengths.

WILL DRAW

  • Anthropomorphic and feral characters

  • Fan characters (Diane Foxington, Loona, Porsha, etc.)

  • Dogs, cats, and fluffy creatures

  • Any gender or sex

  • Pinups

  • Paws / feet

  • Macro / micro

  • Transformation

  • Pool toys / latex / goo

  • Taurs / nagas / merfolk

  • Meme redraws and drawovers

WILL NOT DRAW

  • Humans (for now!)

  • Uncommon / exotic species (dinosaurs, bugs, giraffes, hippos, elephants, etc.)

  • Complex and heavily detailed clothing, armor, and weapons

  • Vehicles and mechs

  • Hyper-realism

  • Military and police themes

  • Hate art (racism, sexism, transphobia, etc.)

  • Underaged characters / loli / cub

  • Muscular and toned characters / bara

  • Incest

  • Drug use

  • Gore / snuff / death

  • Zoophilia

  • Pedophilia
